About us

The Little Rock Local Independent Networking Cooperative (Little Rock LINC) is a proposed plan to cover the city of Little Rock with an affordable, open internet provider.

Our meetings are being held every 2nd Thursday of the month at 6pm. We are finalizing the location, but will have that soon.

We will be discussing goals, methods, and possible sources of funding to help set up a local, non- or not-for-profit, affordable source of broadband Internet access for citizens in the Little Rock/North Little Rock area.

Some initial goals include:

1- Assistance for low-income families, focusing on under-served areas, particularly south of 630.
2- Tech recycling.
3- Open access points in area parks/gathering areas.
4- Possible cooperation with the city, if it helps those goals.
